Creative Embroidery has been in business since 1984. We operate an “open” business where anyone is free to drop by anytime and review our premises, work area, staff area, and all common areas as well as engage in dialogue with anyone at anytime. We welcome all visitors and questions. We are Canadian owned and operated out of Richmond BC with a staff typically numbering around 15. We have low staff turnover due to a positive work environment, flexible hours, medical benefits, and some financial incentives. All of our in-house decoration is done with Canadian labour and subject to all Canadian workplace regulations which we not only meet but exceed. As a licensee for the RCMP as well as our account with APBC and our university and college clients, we must at all times provide access to facilities, services, and background on products. This also includes bilingual design diversity. We’re happy to answer any additional questions about our workplace/history and can be contacted anytime.
Ambulance Paramedics of British Columbia (APBC) is the union organization that represents the 4,500+ Paramedics and Emergency Dispatchers of the province of British Columbia, Canada. APBC, also known as CUPE local 873, is one of the largest union locals in the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE). Nearly every ambulance worker and emergency medical dispatcher in British Columbia is a member of APBC.
Our employer, the British Columbia Emergency Health Services (BCEHS), is one of the largest ambulance services in the world, and is the primary Emergency Medical Services agency in the province. Our members provide pre-hospital medical care to 4.9 million people across a land mass that is 944,000+ square kilometers in size - roughly the size of the states of California, Oregon, and Washington combined.
